Come as you are. Worship in spirit and in truth. Leave transformed.
At Community Christian Church, we believe worship is first and foremost about God — not about performance, entertainment, or personal preference. Our worship is shaped entirely by the New Testament pattern of the early church, as described in Acts 2 and the Epistles.
We sing a cappella — unaccompanied voices united in praise — because the New Testament authorises singing, and we believe this form of worship is both beautiful and participatory. There are no spectators in our worship; every voice belongs.
Each Sunday we gather around the Lord's Table to partake of communion — reflecting on the sacrifice of Jesus, renewing our covenant with Him, and proclaiming His death until He comes.
Our preaching is expository — rooted in the text of scripture — designed to teach, correct, encourage, and equip every believer in the congregation.
We gather four times each week. Every gathering is open to all — members, visitors, and seekers alike.

We want your first visit to feel comfortable, warm, and completely pressure-free.
Our greeters will meet you at the door. You will never be asked to stand up, introduce yourself, or do anything that makes you feel put on the spot. Come, sit, and simply be present.
We sing together — four-part harmony with no instruments. Words are displayed on screens. Whether you have a strong voice or barely hum, your participation is welcome and meaningful.
Every message is anchored in the Bible text. Our preacher aims to explain what the passage says, what it means, and how it applies to your daily life in the Cowichan Valley today.
Communion is offered every Sunday to baptised believers. Visitors are welcome to observe respectfully. No one will approach or pressure you regarding the Lord's Supper.
There is none. Come dressed as you are comfortable. Our congregation ranges from suits to jeans. We want you to focus on God, not on what you are wearing.
Children are welcome in the auditorium throughout worship. Children's Bible classes run during the 9:30 AM period. Nursing mothers have a private space available on request.
We love children and we believe they belong in the worshipping community. Families are encouraged to sit together during the morning service. We believe that children benefit from being present in corporate worship — hearing the singing, observing prayer, and learning by participation.
During the 9:30 AM Bible Class hour, age-appropriate classes are available for toddlers through teenagers. Classes are taught by caring, trained volunteers committed to making Bible learning engaging and meaningful.
We also run a full Vacation Bible School each summer and regular children's events throughout the year. Learn more about our Children's Ministry.
"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God."— Colossians 3:16 (ESV)
