Every message anchored in scripture. Every lesson designed to equip you for life.
At Community Christian Church in Duncan, BC, the preaching and teaching of God's Word is central to everything we do. We believe the Bible is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword — and we preach it that way. Our sermons are expository, meaning we work through books of the Bible or specific passages systematically, seeking to understand what God's Word says, what it means, and how it transforms us.
John's first letter opens with a profound declaration: God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. But what does it mean for those of us who live between the light we have been called to and the darkness we still struggle against? In this message, we explore the apostle John's call to honest, transparent, grace-covered living — confessing our failures, trusting God's faithfulness, and walking daily in the light of His presence.

Beyond Sunday sermons, our congregation is committed to deep, ongoing engagement with scripture. We maintain a library of study guides, workbooks, and commentaries available to church members. Our elders and teachers are also available for personal Bible study with individuals and families exploring the Christian faith.
We offer a structured new-believer study for those who have recently been baptised or who are exploring what it means to follow Jesus. This one-on-one study covers the basics of the gospel, the church, worship, and the Christian life.
If you are interested in a personal Bible study, or if you would like to request printed study materials, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are always glad to sit down with anyone who wants to know more about Jesus and the scriptures.
Request a Bible StudyEvery Wednesday at 7:00 PM, we gather for a more intimate, conversational study of a specific book, topic, or theme from the Bible. These midweek gatherings are designed to go deeper than a Sunday sermon allows — with questions, discussion, and practical application at the centre.
